Good morning.
Over the years we have heard people speak of the drudgery of their daily job; having to do the same thing over and over. It all seems so meaningless. Sounds pretty much like how Solomon felt about life.
The question is "What are you planning to accomplish today?"
By setting a goal/objective one is able to turn the most mundane of tasks into a challenge, and by achieving the goal we come away with a sense of accomplishment.
Another way to bring a sense of fulfillment in the work place is to see the end result of what your employer does. Remember the story of the man sweeping the floor at the Kennedy Space Center. When asked what he does he replied, "I put rockets into Space."
For followers of Christ, our aim is to please our Lord and Saviour. Paul reminds us: "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
(Colossians 3:17)
Giving thanks to God our Father is key.
So, what are you thankful for today?
Have a fulfilling day.
Blessings.
